“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” – 2 Timothy 1:7

Hello Church Family,

I want to update you about changes taking place at Calvary Chapel Saint Cloud after recent announcements from federal and state agencies.

More importantly, I want to remind you that the Lord is still in control! Come what may, we can confidently place our trust and hope in Him as we weather this storm together. I pray He continues to provide each one of us with strength, wisdom, and encouragement in these difficult and trying times. I am praying for you…and I appreciate your prayers for me and my family! God is hearing AND answering your prayers!

As you know, last Sunday we cancelled our worship service. There’s an important distinction to make in that statement—our worship service was cancelled, church was not. Because YOU are the church! Church is not a building of brick and mortar, but the “called-out ones”—people redeemed and set free by Jesus to be His hands and feet! The eternal truth is church will never be cancelled (Matthew 16:8)!!!

While the decision to cancel our worship service was difficult, I felt at this time that it was best to keep all of you safe and healthy and to do our part to love our neighbors in the community. I believe this is honoring to Jesus.

Going forward, we have decided to follow the CDC guidance for large gatherings. Therefore, our in-person Sunday worship services will be suspended until further notice. We will continue to monitor the situation and update you regularly with any changes. Please continue to read our weekly ebulletin email, social media posts, and visit our website to stay in touch.

I strongly believe we still need to hear and receive God’s Word—more than ever before. It’s through His Word we receive strength, comfort, and steady encouragement. So we’re getting creative with the technology that God has blessed us with to continue to share the Good News of Jesus and the hope He freely gives.

Here are some of the things we have been working on to encourage and equip you in your walk with the Lord:

Live Stream Services
We are working diligently to begin live streaming for Sunday services. While we may not be able to gather together, we can unite in worship virtually! We’re currently on track to have this up and running by this Sunday. More information to come soon!

The RockFM - 96.1 FM
I was hoping to announce this exciting news when I returned from Israel, but “for such a time as this,” right?! We’re so excited to announce that we are now operating The RockFM—a low-powered FM radio station that broadcasts in St. Cloud. Over the next few days, we will begin incorporating Bible studies and messages of hope from great pastors across the country! An internet stream will be up and running soon! Stay tuned for more information.
