TxCAN Stands With You

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, we are watching with you to see the impact on our Nation and the Texas education community. We believe a focus on protecting the transition from high-school to college will be more important than ever as our high school seniors navigate school closures, changes in critical test dates, and deadline shifts.

TxCAN and the broader Educate Texas team is focusing on how to best support you. We are also leaning on our national leaders NCAN, NACAC, and the Department of Education during this time. We have provided links to some of the COVID-19 guidance and other resources they are providing below.

We are standing with you!

NCAN
National College Attainment Network
NCAN shares our concern for students, and during these turbulent times has taking steps to help! NCAN has created a resource roundup, and will continue to update it. This web-page is where we'll share best practices, FAQs, policy updates, and other news and information related to supporting students during the coronavirus outbreak. We'll also share updates from national organizations that work with students, like College Board and ACT, and other associations connected to students, such as NACAC and NASFAA. Visit the roundup of COVID-19 resources

NACAC
National Association for College Admission Counseling
As a service to students and families, NACAC has created a central resource listing information about changes in college admission events, deposit dates, and more as a result of the coronavirus outbreak. This tool will update in real time as we receive input from postsecondary institutions. View the resource: http://ow.ly/WG8950yO5AG
