In this email you'll find a snow sculpture challenge and some great resources! We hope they can be especially helpful if you're having any challenges figuring out how to talk to your middle school student about anxiety, or crises in general, right now.
We want you to know - PCJH staff and leadership are praying for your families, knowing you each have unique situations during this time.
Tomorrow, you will be emailed a list of resources that PCJH has been hard at work on, to serve our church-wide PCJH family.
For today, I'm excited to share the following resources from our partners in ministry, Orange, that guide us in having phase/age appropriate conversations with our kids during this challenging point in time.
Hopefully the below links provide support, thoughtful insight, and most importantly encouragement that you're not in this alone.

God's Grace and Peace to all of our parents and students.
Children's Ministry and Youth Ministry wanted to help families with ideas for all this time we are now spending with our children and youth at home. We came up with a challenge for PCJH families and beyond that we hope is a fun distraction from the stress and worry gripping our world right now. We would love to get as many families participating as possible.
The Challenge for this week is for each family to submit a video of a snow sculpture they have created. The sculpture could be a snowman, a snow fort, or a snow creature. In the video please explain your creation and all its attributes. Please submit the videos to my Dylan Wade's mail or my, Liz Collins' email by Sunday at 9am. We will review all videos and share as many as we can on this Sunday's livestream of our worship service at 10:10am. We will also announce a winner. Please tune in to find out the results and worship with each other over the web. Can't wait to see what you all come up with!
