What's coming up
In the next couple of weeks there are a number of events and courses planned to help you manage your pastures and soils, find out about winter feed options and soil organic matter.
If you are joining us for any of these events, we ask you to observe the following:
- practice simple hygiene by:
- making sure to clean your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, or use an alcohol-based hand rub
- covering your nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with tissue or a flexed elbow
- maintain a safe social distance from all other participants
- please stay home and do not attend if you are feeling unwell
- please stay home and not attend if you have been to a country considered at higher risk of COVID-19 (excluding airport transit) in the past 14 days
Packaged, pre-portioned refreshments will be served at these events.
In these uncertain times, keep an eye on the Northern Tablelands LLS Facebook page for any updates to these events. It is best if you RSVP to the events below so that we can contact you directly if there are changes to event details.
The Bundarra Prograze course commences on Monday 6 April and there are still places available. Please contact Karl Andersson on 0437 867 523 to book your place at the Bundarra Prograze course or to register your interest in joining the Tenterfield Prograze course.
We have also launched a podcast series called the Productive Producer designed specifically for Northern Tablelands producers. Podcast guests are selected and interviewed for their industry knowledge and on-farm experience. The industry professionals share their insight and opinion on a range of production related topics.
Don’t forget that voting for LLS Board Elections opens on 9 April and your vote counts. There is no need to enrol but you do need to indicate how you want to receive your voting pack – whether electronically or by post. Register now.
