I hope we are all following the legitimate news broadcasts regarding the Corona virus...and not the hype that Facebook messages tend to create.
We all need to do our part to contain it and for me that means avoiding large gatherings.
According to the news we should not be part of gatherings of more than 10 people.
We cannot stop working but companies are sending their IT people to work online from home.
I am going to help my daughter who did my graphic design course at Calvin-Academy in 2017 and who now works as a digital designer at PicknPay, set up to work from home.
PicknPay have requested this for all their IT staff and today all the schools will have no pupils until after Easter as a precautionary method.
We should all help this virus pandemic not to become extreme in SA. But at the same time your career has to continue to develop and grow.
I have been offering one-to-one specialist software training for many years now as it is the best method of training but now it also means you can continue to upgrade your skills this year without putting your health at risk as it is only the lecturer and the student (yourself) in class....no large classroom environment.

You have to hold on to your rock-solid belief in your abilities to persevere, stay committed and not give up until success is finally achieved whether the times are bad or not.
Belief is your own level of confidence which you have in your potential. That confidence is anchored by a constant repetition of the action you have to bring to your business or career, no matter how difficult the circumstance. You cannot stand back and do nothing. (procrastinate).
You should have a compelling personal reason why you should not give up on your career development and continue taking courses to improve your skill level all the time.
Belief is the level of confidence in your potential.
This potential is the realization of a success based in the future. Only you can decide what you think your highest potential is that you can still reach and achieve. We all have some inner notion (barometer) of what we think our true potential is.
If someone says to you, “I believe you have such potential to succeed”, It really means nothing until you believe in your own potential yourself.
BELIEF
It is my prayer that all parents share my belief of Calvin Academy’s vision and that they will also…..
1. Believe that their child can achieve more in life.
2. Believe that their child can follow a career path and not just a job to help support the house-hold financially.
3. Believe that the financial sacrifice they are going through will one day pay off when their child gets a good salary due to their studies.
