inside services suspended
March 18 - 31.

Introducing Curbside Library Service & Online Story Time

The Longview Public Library will be switching to curbside service and looking into alternative program options while temporarily suspending inside access to the public to implement COVID-19 procedures.
The suspension of inside services, which includes cancellation of all public programs and events in the library, is currently scheduled through March 31, but future dates will be re-evaluated as necessary.
Curbside services will be available at the main branch of the Longview Public Library only; the Broughton Branch Library will be closed during this time.
The Longview Public Library values the health and safety of our staff and customers as a top priority.
We are actively monitoring guidance from local, state and federal authorities to do our part to support the health of the entire community.
We encourage you to visit the City of Longview's website at Longviewtexas.gov/COVID19 for more information about other city closures and efforts meant to slow the spread of COVID-19 and reduce the number of people infected.

We're hoping to bring you as much service and help as possible during the closure!
Here's the rundown of how things work:
We don't want your family to miss out on Story Time!

Join us online for Family Time Book Nook, as we host Music & Movement and Kid's Story Time on our Facebook page via Facebook Live.
10:30 AM.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (and occasional activity on Thursdays). We'll let everyone know earlier in the morning before we go live.

Plus, even if you can't join us live, the video will be posted afterwards for everyone to watch at a later time!
