Dear PoM Community,
What a time we are in! We know so many of you are helping your children manage big transitions and anxiety when you yourselves are feeling potentially overwhelmed by uncertainty. We know, and we’re with you. We hope these resources will help:
1. A visit with The Peace Teacher. Linda’s school, where she teaches 700 children a week, has just closed here in Washington DC. Linda made this video for her students to help them feel connected while school is out, and to encourage them to remember that when they are worried, mindfulness can help. A lot. Maybe you’d like to share it with your family, too.
2. Practice videos on our Kids Resource Page that you can use today. We will be sharing more mindfulness practice videos in the days to come.
3. Your kids! If your children are in Peace of Mind Class now, remind them to use the mindfulness practices they are learning. Invite them to teach you a few that help them so that you can practice together.
4. Curriculum and Storybooks. If you find yourself at home managing school for your kids, a weekly 30 minute lesson on mindfulness, kindness and conflict resolution could be really helpful. We invite you to check out the Peace of Mind Curriculum and our Guide for Homeschoolers. Linda’s storybooks also bring key lessons home.

With love and all good wishes to you all,
Cheryl & Linda
