We understand that at this time of uncertainty due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, our guests and the general public may wonder what steps we are taking during this worrying situation and whether or not our salons/spas are still open.
We are still open as normal at present and we are following the government's advice with regards to this, so we are monitoring the situation very closely. We will update you all again should our salons have to temporarily close their doors.
 In the meantime we are taking extra precautions within the salon setting, to ensure we are doing all we can to protect our guests and team. Some of the steps that we are taking include the following -
◦ We are asking guests to use Hand Sanitizer upon entering the salon at the reception desk.
◦ We have additional hand sanitizers on every hair station, in every room, and on the nail bar
◦ We are ensuring the handwashing facilities are well stocked, clean and readily available for our guests and staff.
◦ Staff are washing their hands regularly for 20 seconds as per the World Health Organisation's advice
◦ Seats and station surfaces are being wiped down in between guests.
◦ Beauty beds are changed and cleaned after each guest -as they always have been.
◦ Disposable paper cups are being used for our guests and staff drinks.
◦ We are sending members of staff home when they aren’t busy.
◦ We are asking members of staff not to come in on the days when they not busy.
◦ Our office staff are working from home whenever possible.
◦ Any staff members with a temperature or who have developed a cough will be sent home to self-isolate.
◦ We would like to ask all guests who have a temperature and/or a cough to please rearrange their appointments for when they are well again.
◦ As much as we always like to give our guests a warm welcome we will sadly no longer be greeting our guests with handshakes, hugs or kisses.
As our Southport Spa is situated with The Vincent Hotel, we are also working together with the Hotel to meet their additional requirements too.
In order to meet all of the above safety measures, it may take us a little extra time in between appointments so we really appreciate your patience at this time.
