Lake Worth Beach, FL -- In response to the Coronavirus the City of Lake Worth Beach has taken the precautionary action to officially close the following City Buildings at 5pm today.

- 501 Lake Ave
- 17 S M St
- Lake Worth Beach City Hall
- (except for publicly noticed Commission Meetings)
- Osborne Center
Although City parks, the beach, and downtown remain open we remind customers, especially those who are older or otherwise considered to be in a higher risk category, to take all precaution and avoid putting themselves in a situation with lots of people present. Residents that are not in a high risk category should be cognizant that even if they may not be badly effected by the virus, they can carry and infect others who may be.
The City urges the public to monitor the City Website (www.lakeworthbeachfl.gov) for up-to-date information. In addition the public should follow the City's Social Media channels for further information.
The Florida Department of Health has established a dedicated Coronavirus (COVID19) call center (1-866-779-6121) for the public to call 24 hours a day. In addition, the public can email COVID19@flhealth.gov for information.
