To all of our customers,

We wanted to take a moment to reach out and wish you all safe amidst the high level of uncertainty the nation and world is experiencing right now.  We also want to give you an update on the measures that Micro-Comm is taking to ensure that we can keep supporting our customers during this tenuous time.  We understand the stress you have under during normal conditions, and we appreciate the extra burden you are under right now.  Please rest assured, that your needs and the safety of our employees and families are our top two priorities right now and moving forward.

We are very fortunate, because as a technology-driven company, Micro-Comm finds itself well-suited to maintain customer support during disruptive times like this.  The majority of our staff is equipped to work from home with 100% of normal capabilities, and modern-day video teleconferencing allows us to directly contact our customers in order to help problem solve any service issues that might arise on the fly. 

Here is a list of some of the measures we have instituted to maintain our commitment to you:
  • We have greatly extended our work from home policy.  This ensures there are no disruptions to our normal workflow while keeping our premises clean and safe for our in-house production and support teams,
  • We have increased cross-training within support staff and trained them to take on additional tasks, if needed.   Micro-Comm’s support personnel have always functioned as a team to better serve its goals, however, now our cross-training policy ensures that we can maintain normal operations with only a few people on-site,
  • We have assessed and are increasing our inventory in order to make sure we have ample product to ship to customers in need,
  • We will be providing live updates to our website in order to keep open communications with our customers. This will help make sure you receive the service phone support you need, when you need it. We do not have any plans on stopping our receptionist activities, but we want to be fully prepared if a disruption, no matter how small, should occur.
In our commitment to you, we ask one small thing: please understand the current situation makes travel more difficult, and at Micro-Comm the safety of our staff is paramount.  We are still traveling to customer’s sites as needed, but we appreciate non-essential service trips be scheduled for April or May, so we can concentrate on more critical issues in the time being.  If we all commit to working together, we will look back at this time as the moment we became our collective best selves; a time we could withstand anything.

We wish you safe, and hope that everyone can find peace in knowing that the current situation is temporary, and it will pass.  And when it does, we can all look back stronger, with more resolve than when we started.

AFTER HOURS PHONE SUPPORT
 
In an effort to supply a high level of customer service and satisfaction, Micro-Comm, Inc. makes after-hours phone support available to all our customers at no additional charge.
 
Customers can call our office phone number (913) 390-4500 after hours to leave a voice message in the Service Emergency voice mailbox (press 2 when prompted to leave your message). Your voice message must include the phone number you want the technician to call. 
 
The Service Emergency voice mailbox alerts the “on-call” technician via cell phone to advise him that a customer needs to be called.
 
These calls will be returned between the hours 8 AM to 8 PM, 7 days a week and holidays by our designated “on-call” technician. The “on-call” technician will assist customers with troubleshooting, attempting to resolve system failures or determine the best course of action. 
 
Shipping repair/replacement parts and/or onsite repairs are only scheduled during normal business hours 8 am to 5 pm   Monday thru Friday.
