Editor's Note

Dear FF community,

If I'm being honest, I'm feeling anxious. And from talking to many of you this week, I know you are too.

I am currently in my 5th day of self-quarantine here in Brooklyn, and very little is still open, except my calendar of course. But one thing that hasn't closed or been canceled is the sheer amount of strength and support in the FF community. For that, I am I immensely grateful. And as many of us have already noted, we are grateful for the fact that many of us have been WFH for yeeeeears now.

We're already working on delivering new ways to support you and add positivity to your world during this difficult time. Need a pick me up, funny gifs, or a chat? We're here for you. Some special offerings to tap into are:

FF COVID Resource page
We're scouring the internet finding resources covering everything from keeping you mentally fit, to finding funding for your business. Bookmark and check back regularly as we update it.

- Bite-Sized Workshops
Join us each day in the Facebook group for live 15-minute workshops and fitness classes starting March 19 from your fellow FF community members.

Workshops will be available at any time to watch. Search the group using the hashtag #15MINWORKSHOP.

- Virtual Meetup Sessions
Need some social interaction? We're hosting live virtual meetups to get to know your fellow FF'ers beginning March 19th in the Facebook group.

Check our Facebook Group and Instagram page for the latest updates, and please make sure that no matter what, you go easy on yourselves during these delicate first few weeks. Timelines will shift. Productivity will lag. Washing your hair might feel like more effort than normal. Give yourself, and your loved ones and collaborators a break, so we can recover together swiftly.

Stay safe and healthy, freelancers,
Tia, Founder
