Dear all
We find ourselves in the midst of an unprecedented public health emergency which is having an impact on all of our businesses. The Coronavirus situation is rapidly evolving with new advice and guidance being issued daily.
As your Business Improvement District our role is to support our businesses through these difficult times. To do this we have created a three - point action plan that we will implement to keep you informed, share your messages and best practice and represent our members.
- Keeping Businesses Informed
We will use our communication channels including our e-bulletins, direct email, telephone and social media to keep you up to date with the latest news and guidance around Coronavirus. We will include links to the latest health messages and direct you to the latest information on business related matters.
- Share Best Practice.
Coronavirus is a national crisis therefore other Business Parks, BIDs and businesses will be facing many of the same issues as Gadbrook Park. We will seek out what other organisations are doing to help themselves through the coming weeks and months and share best practice with our members.
Action: Sign up to our business newsletter here to be kept up to date
- Representing our Businesses
The speed at which the Coronavirus situation is moving means the true impact on businesses is yet to be seen. We are in regular communications with the Local Enterprise Partnership to ensure that BID businesses receive the latest information and advice. These relationships will also be used to ensure that priority issues for the local business community are rapidly communicated to local and national government.
We will continue to represent our businesses by engaging with key decision makers in both local and central government, to ensure they understand the impact on businesses.
If you are not already signed up to our business newsletter, please do so here.
Kind regards
Hugh Shields
