Things have changed dramatically since we sent you an email on Monday morning to say that we were planning to re-open The Old Coastguard on Friday.  Thank you to all of you who replied with such unbelievably supportive words.

It'll be of no surprise then that we've made the call to postpone our re-opening until further notice. It's obviously the right thing to do, however much agony it may cause our team who have worked massively hard to get the place ready and have been so patient and loyal during our closure.  We're not going to put a date on re-opening yet, there is just too much uncertainty on how infection rates will develop.

The Gurnard's Head and The Felin Fach Griffin do remain open for the moment, but we would be surprised if that remained the case much beyond the weekend.  So do visit if you feel it is sensible.

In all this we're conscious of the direct impact that all of this has on our suppliers, our contractors and our teams.  This is something which is replicated right across the country and which we hope will be properly understood and then addressed by the Government very rapidly.

It is a pinprick of light at the end of a long tunnel, but we hope that we might all emerge from this as a more considerate and unified country.  Stay safe everyone and we'll see you as Spring begins to turn into Summer.
