As we kick off the week, we wanted to send you an update on the status of our Town's response to COVID-19.  Your Pendleton Town Council and staff are working hard to be proactive as we navigate through this emergency.  Staff is here for you if you have questions or concerns.  

The Town Executive's Declaration of Local Emergency is available on the Town's website.  We expect the Declaration to be extended early this week.  

The State of Indiana Executive Order 20-05: Helping Hoosiers During the Public Health Emergency Declared for the Coronavirus Disease 2019 Outbreak is available on the Town's website.

Best Way is changing trash pick-up procedures to the following until further notice:

• Business will be done by phone or online only (Best Way Offices are closed to the public).
• There will be no heavy trash pick-up on Wednesdays.
• All leaves and limbs must be in trash container for Monday pick-up.
• All trash must be in containers.  Nothing outside of trash bins will be collected.
• The Transfer Station on Madison Avenue will be open.  It is self-service. 

The Town has set up a COVID-19 Hotline.  Please leave your non-emergency message at 765-221-5029 and we will return your call within 48 hours.  We can help connect you to community resources for issues you may be facing in regards to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Police Department is open to the public, but ask if you have business that can be handled over the phone, please call instead of visiting. 

Fire Department:  Non-emergency Line (765) 778-2400 (Emergency - Call 911)
The Fire Department is open and is doing business as usual (with additional precautions).     

Utility Office: (765) 778-2173
The Utility Office is closed to the public.  However, staff is available by phone or email.  Utility payments can be made online, by dropping payment in the exterior drop box at Town Hall, or by calling in at 765-778-2173.  

Town Court: (765) 778-0772
Town Court has been postponed until further notice.  Payments can be made online, and questions can be answered by calling 765-778-0772. 

Planning Department: (765) 778-8370
The Planning Department is closed to the public, but staff is available by phone or email.  Building Permit Applications are available on the Town's website and completed applications can be placed in the drop box at Town Hall.

The Park Office is closed to the public, but staff is available by phone or email.

Clerk-Treasurer's Office: (765) 778-7937
The Clerk-Treasurer's Office is closed to the public, but staff is available by phone or email.

Electric, Water, Street & Cemetery Departments:
Department supervisors, foreman, and employees will be called out for emergency repairs only.    

All Board and Commission meetings scheduled through March 24th have been cancelled.  

The Pendleton Town Council will be holding a special meeting this week.  Meeting notification will be sent out as soon as we have more information.
