Message to the Agriculture, Food, & Markets Community
Dear Community,
The Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets knows you are concerned about news of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and its implications for the health of you and your loved ones, as well as the impacts to your business and livelihood. We are working with other Agencies in state government, the federal government, and nonprofit organizations to identify resources to assist you during the coronavirus pandemic. We intend to share these resources in the coming weeks through this newsletter, and updates may be more frequent than normal.
We know that many of you engage with our staff through events, grants, contracts and a variety of other ways. Most of our staff members are working remotely in an effort to practice social distancing. During this time, we ask that you send all documentation electronically as we are infrequently in the office.
We also understand that business is changing, events are being postponed, and paperwork may not be your highest priority. Please reach out to us directly if you need to discuss changes to an existing grant, project, or event.
Thank you for the work you do and willingness to navigate this difficult and unprecedented time. We hope you stay healthy and safe.
