My dear people,

Greetings to you on the Solemnity of St Joseph, the husband of The Blessed Virgin Mary and earthly father of Jesus.

Today I have received updated advice from our Bishops on how we might adjust our public worship in light of the Coronavirus pandemic.

This means that there will be no public Sunday morning mass or weekday masses until further notice. But be assured, that we your priests, will continue to pray the daily Offices of the Church and celebrate the mass every day, praying for you and asking you to pray for us too.

The church will remain open every day for prayer and quiet and in due course I hope to announce specific times when the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed on the altar. Sadly our lunchtime concerts have been cancelled too.

Some of you have asked me if you can volunteer to help at this time. AgeUK Camden are looking for donations of food and volunteers to deliver food parcels click here for more details

Euston Foodbank are also looking for donations and help, click here for more details as well as the Irish Centre in Camden Square. click here for more details.

If you would like some prayer resources then click here for a beautiful daily meditation and also the Shrine of Our Lady at Walsingham are live-streaming their Shrine Prayers every day at 6pm, via their Facebook page, click here for the link at 6pm daily

And if you are feeling anxious at this time then click here for some mindfulness exercises to help soothe and calm.

I hope you are all well, please do not hesitate to contact me if you need anything at all, you all remain in my prayers at this time.

With love and every blessing,
Fr James
