Dear Readers,
This is a special issue of ENAI newsletter to briefly reflect the current situation.
We know that now it's hard time for many of us, therefore we would like to offer help to all teachers who need to teach remotely - take an advantage of plenty of great educational materials in ENAI database and also use it to share your own materials!
Unfortunately we can't all meet in Dubai at the ENAI annual conference in April, but the good news is that the whole conference will be virtual and we will not miss (almost) anything! Find all details here.
And the last piece of information - due to a technical error, the nominations to ENAI awards were sent only to the nominator, not to our team. Hence, we would like to ask you for your assistance - the only thing you need to do is to forward the e-mail you have received. Find the instructions below.

ENAI Annual Conference 2020 is Going 100% Virtual

With the rapid changes to travel rules around the globe and as part of our continued efforts to ensure safety and continuity of the greater community and the work we all do, PAEB2020 is going 100% virtual!

Our keynotes, presentations and workshops will all be online. All our registered delegates will be able to present papers, attend sessions, ask questions, network with sponsors, take part in discussions and workshops virtually. While we were ecstatic to be able to welcome you all to sunny Dubai and disappointed that we will not be able to meet you all physically; we are confident that the remote conference from the safety and comfort of your homes will add tremendous scientific and social value, giving all of you and us opportunity to be creative and innovative in the digital space.

Considerable reduction has been made to the conference fees to make it sustainable, fair and support the conference preparations and infrastructure we will be providing all delegates.
The virtual registration fee is €100 for ENAI members, and €150 for ALL International Delegates and AED300 for UAE local delegates (all inclusive of UAE Federal Tax Authority's 5% VAT). All delegates wanting to present and join sessions are required to complete registration and payment individually by the due date.

ENAI Awards - please, forward us the email with your nomination

Due to technical problems, nominations for ENAI Awards submitted as an online form were not processed as needed. The form data was sent to the nominator only and not to the Award Working Group. We kindly ask all nominators to forward the respective e-mail they received to awards@academicintegrity.eu.

You don't have to insert the data to the form again, just do the following:

  1. Locate the e-mail with the subject "NOMINATION FOR ENAI AWARD ", sent from ENAI Web Pages <wordpress@academicintegrity.eu>
  2. Forward this e-mail to awards@academicintegrity.eu

To allow all nominators to forward their e-mails, we are extending the deadline for nominations till 25th of March, midnight CET. The online form works correctly now, so we invite the whole community to submit additional nominations if they are interested.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

ENAI Database of Educational Materials

In the current situation, teachers world-wide have to teach remotely. Many teachers are preparing such materials for the very first time. Even for experienced online teachers, creation of high-quality material for distance teaching is very time-consuming. Hence, let's share our materials! Because in this case, sharing is caring!

ENAI provides database of educational materials, where you can already find more than 200 materials on the topic of academic integrity: academic integrity in general, plagiarism prevention, academic writing, research integrity, or ethical issues related to any field of study. Right now we are uploading the new self-study materials which we recently created for our students. There is a new type of the material named "self-study".
Please join us and share your materials via ENAI database. It can be on any topic related to academic integrity, in any language, in any format.
Send your material to info@academicintegrity.eu together with accompanying form with necessary metadata.
We will approach you with the regular newsletter in April 2020. If you want to share with us, and with other recipients, any interesting news from your country or some curiosities from the area of academic integrity, we will welcome your contributions. Please send them to info@academicintegrity.eu as soon as possible.
Feel free to share the newsletter with your friends and colleagues, or send them this subscription link, the newsletter is open to everyone!

Sincerely yours
European Network for Academic Integrity team
