It is with heartfelt consideration of our fifty-three year legacy that we at the Durango Arts Center take unique but appropriate measures to respond to COVID-19. 

Now, more than ever, we depend on the faith, hope, and generosity of our passionate community of art enthusiasts to continue supporting this cultural institution through the unknown territory ahead. 

It is our genuine hope that we will be able to reopen our doors after the COVID-19 situation passes, but we need your help. Please consider making a financial contribution to help maintain your local arts center through this challenge. With your assistance, art and theater education, gallery exhibitions, performances and community events at the DAC will continue.

Whether you’ve taken an art class, enjoyed a live theater performance, viewed contemporary art, enjoyed the twenty five years of Autumn Arts Festivals downtown, or sent your grandchild to an art or theater camp, you have experienced the power of art. If you have attended one of the nearly two hundred community events the DAC hosted last year, you have benefitted from the support of this important community resource.
