Greetings, Illuminating Women Sisters.
Now more than ever we need to make certain we are connecting and staying in touch. I have purposely been quite for deep cleaning of my home including painting, creating new spaces, purging of things that no longer serve or are needed. I welcomed this important distraction as I felt the pain of our world with the COVID-19 pandemic keeping in prayer those affected and our medical and grocery workers. I also became painfully aware as I went through things that there will be many families doing the same thing as they go through the belongings of their loved ones that have passed. I am more conscious of the "stuff" we have in our homes that we simply just don't need and am grateful for the many things I have learned from all of you. During this "clean out", I took the lessons we learned from our I.W. sister Elisa Hawkinson about organizing and items we need and don't need. What a freeing feeling helping me to be more prepared as all of us will be hitting the reset button. Until then, I am working on ways to keep us engaged and aware of what our sisters can do to support our community during this time of waiting.

We are excited to hear from 4 of our Illuminating Women sisters about "living to golden." These amazing women are so inspirational, which during this time their stories and anecdotes will provide us a lot of hope surrounded with good laughter. Please join us for connection and education.
Lastly, our Peru trip has been rescheduled for August 21-30, all of our Brick and Mortar events are canceled until May when we re-evaluate if we can meet again. GNO will be virtual, again until it is safe for us to gather. We are creating an I.W. Member's Directory that will be available soon so that we can support each other even more. I will also be hosting some opportunities to keep learning and growing with our members, like one with Vicki Draper "our pets and our stress during this time" and many more. We will create a calendar of when these opportunities will be available.
