Dear Supporter of the Arts,

In light of the recent and rapid changes our community faces, it is important for you to know what is happening at your community arts center.

We are making every effort to keep our facilities sanitized and are promoting social distancing as well as protocols recommended by San Juan Basin Health. We promise to notify you in the event of a closing or cancellation at the Durango Arts Center.

So far, we have postponed the "Art About Art" Winter Lecture Series next week as well as Mike Scieszka's painting class this Saturday (tomorrow). There are no scheduled events or youth classes at the DAC next week, but our staff will be available to assist you via phone or email.
In the event of a closing, we will send out another notification via email and social media by Friday. Updates will appear on our website as well.

As Durango 9R has cancelled all after school activities until early April, we are planning to bring the classes we normally teach at the local schools to the physical location of the DAC Education Studio. The scheduling of this program may adjust as needed.

There is no doubt that every community will have to adapt to the challenges facing us. Though we may have to postpone shows and events, tickets and memberships will still be available, and your purchases and donations will support our mission to enrich the community through art.

We will all need to support as many areas of our community as we can.

We wish you the very best of health and fortitude as we carry on through these challenging times.

Be well, my friends.
Yours in Art,
Brenda
