LaMama Introduces Live Stream Programming
LaMama is exploring ways to respond creatively to a situation that is potentially changing how we gather as a community in our theatres. This Sunday, at 3PM, for instance, Pananadem (Remembering) by Kinding Sindaw.

Pananadem means “remembering” in the language of the Meranao people.  It is a way of looking back across time, to gain inspiration and perspective from one’s ancestors. In this tale, old and new align as a young group of refugees whose quest for inspiration leads them to a transformative encounter with displaced tradition-bearers who recall the legends of Derangen, the Meranao epic.

DINE IN

New York City’s precautionary guidelines surrounding coronavirus are changing fast. On Thursday evening, the mayor’s office announced that all restaurants and bars seating 500 people or less would need to reduce capacity by 50 percent. How these policies will be enforced is still unclear, but New York City’s restaurants and bars have already begun to respond by expanding take-out dining.

If you are purplexed by the empty shelves at Whole Foods, show some love and give your voluntary isolation a treat.  Order delivery from NoHo's exceptional restaurants:
