RBCA HELP NEEDED

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Richmond Beach Community Newspaper is looking for an Advertising Manager
The award-winning Richmond Beach Community Newspaper is looking for an individual who can help log and track advertisers for the monthly (10 issues a year) newspaper. This is a volunteer position that takes approximately 8-10 hours a month. This multi-faceted role is primarily a data management one, with no cold-call sales efforts required - our wonderful advertisers seek us out! You'd be stepping into a position with great historical information. The current Ad Manager will remain available for questions and support as needed. For more information contact RBCA Executive Director, Teresa Pape at execdirector@richmondbeach.org
Newspaper Ad Designer needed for Richmond Beach Community News
Do you enjoy creating graphics, images, and art? Maybe you know of a student that is studying graphic design? Could one of your friends or neighbors be looking for a creative outlet? The RBCA is looking for a graphic designer to design ads for the newspaper. Use this opportunity for a future portfolio or strengthen your professional skills and join the team of enthusiastic volunteers who produce the monthly newspaper. The current designer will train through May. For more information contact RBCA Executive Director, Teresa Pape at execdirector@richmondbeach.org
RBCA Board member
Have you ever wondered who plans all the events in the neighborhood? Do you have ideas and suggestions on how to make the community better?  Do you want to volunteer more and looking for a local opportunity? If you answered yes to any of these questions, please consider becoming a board member. We will have at least two open seats coming this spring.

For more information about any of the listed opportunities, please contact Executive Director, Teresa Pape at execdirector@richmondbeachwa.org for more details.
ORCA Council - Help our Beloved Orcas!
The Community’s beloved Orcas are coming close to retirement and we are forming an Orca Council now to help manage their care. The Orcas are starting year 4 what was projected to be a 5-year art project. However, some of the orcas are already showing signs of aging. We hope to create a council that will help decide which orcas are ready for an early retirement, which ones are strong enough to continue swimming, and even perhaps assist in the creation of a new pod that can rotate into the current family. There is a lot of room for ideas and creative thinking on the continued maintenance and care of these beautiful art pieces. If you love the orcas and want to be part of the Orca Council which needs to be active before the orcas return in the spring. Contact our Executive Director Teresa Pape at execdirector@richmondbeachwa.org
