Welcome the new Intramural Sports Program Coordinator, Riley McCaig! With his experience as the former Assistant Program Coordinator for Intramurals and as a Intramurals Recreation Facilitator way back in 2010-2012, our programming is in good hands.

Lister Olympics
Congratulations to the Speedball Champs, the Champions of the Winter 2020 Lister Olympics! Thank you to all of the participants that represented their teams in Ball Hockey, Volleyball, Spikeball, Basketball, and Dodgeball this weekend!

3-On-3 Basketball
On March 8th, Samuel's Team came out victorious as the 3-on-3 Basketball Champions! Thank you to all of the teams that came out and played.

Winter 2020 Tournament Update
After consultation with health officials and the Province of Alberta requesting events of 250+ people be cancelled, we will follow their expert advice in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, we will be cancelling our remaining tournaments of the Winter 2020 semester: Red Eye and World Cup of Futsal.
If you registered and paid for one of these events, you are eligible for a full refund. Please contact or stop by the Customer Service Centre to arrange your refund. |

Summer 2020 League Registration is Open!
Registration is now open for Campus & Community Recreation's Summer Leagues! Assemble a team and get ready to head outdoors to play Beach Volleyball (2s and 4s), Flag Football, Slo-Pitch, Soccer, Spikeball and Ultimate Frisbee. In addition to these outdoor leagues, Basketball and Ice Hockey indoor leagues are being offered as well!

A Message From Campus & Community Recreation
Dear Campus & Community Recreation Clients,
As the existing COVID-19 situation evolves, we are constantly reviewing our current practices in relation to recreation programs and activities. Effective Monday, March 16, 2020, the following actions will take place:
- All instructor-led programs at Van Vliet Complex, Foote Field and Saville Community Sports Centre including group exercise, fitness, dance, martial arts, climbing, tennis and sport-ball are cancelled between March 16 and April 9, 2020. Registrants in these programs will receive pro-rated refunds over the next few weeks.
- Drop-in recreational activities including squash, badminton, basketball, climbing, tennis, pickeball, lane-swim and fitness centre will be available. Please check our website regularly as hours of operation may change. Restrictions on participant numbers may be applied to maintain adherence to recommended social distancing.
- Drop-in skating at Clare Drake Arena will be cancelled.
- Club Sports activities will be cancelled for the remainder of the term.
- Steam rooms will not be operational during this period.
- League play in Curling and Intramurals will continue during this time.
- Enhanced cleaning protocols are taking place, with primary emphasis on touch points.
We ask for your patience and assistance at this time. Your support in providing a safe and healthy environment is appreciated.
