This Tuesday - Damper Creek Map, Mount Waverley
Those of you that read our event reports will realise that we decided in January to move the Awards Night back one night and insert the event that was cancelled due to air pollution.
That event is this Tuesday - and it will start from Federal Reserve in Mount Waverley. Recognising that it's now pitch dark by 8:00 pm, the course will be mainly street-based.
Our precautions against Corona Virus transmission will include:
- We will not use electronic controls; there will be a marker at each control site and we ask people to locate this to confirm that they are at the correct location.
- We will not use electronic tags; we will check people out and back in - noting the approximate time for each. We ask you to score yourself and let us know how many points you collected.
- We cannot provide drinking water and shared cups.
As much as possible, we ask you to avoid physical contact with others at the event. It is our hope that adopting such practises will reduce the possibility of virus transmission at our event.
