Keeping your Calm in the midst of Chaos 🕉

Happy Monday! I hope this e-mail finds you healthy and safe. I know many of you may be stressing about the impact of Coronavirus. The wanderer in me wasn't happy about having to cancel my upcoming travel, but that's life. This pandemic has disrupted the world, our way of life and our economy. Many lives have been lost and my heart goes out to all the people impacted by this tragedy. 

There are a lot of unknowns that may be causing you to panic. It is very unsettling to feel so out of control, but some situations in life are simply that...out of our control. That's ok... In times like this, it's important to slow down and focus on what's important. Just breathe, take great care of yourself, and do whatever you need to keep you and your loved ones safe. 

Instead of focusing your energy on what scares you, try to find a  silver lining every day. It may simply be that you and your family are all still alive and healthy. Remember, many people around the world cannot even say that. The cool part? Keeping your thoughts positive actually helps boost your immune system. 

Now is a great time to get your house in order, read those books you've let collect dust on your shelf, spend time exercising in nature and generally slow down and go within to shine some light on anything you've been avoiding. Work on your creative passions, spend more time being present with your spouse and/or kids and make the most of the increased time at home. Extroverts, I promise you'll survive this! 🤣

Remember: Your best offense to fighting coronavirus is to keep your immune system as strong as possible in the event you come into contact with the virus.
