With the health and safety of our community, patients, staff and students in mind, Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is suspending ALL clinical and nonclinical rotations in ALL LVHN facilities (inpatient, outpatient, home health) effective Monday, March 16. This includes all student rotations, internships and externships, as well as all visiting resident rotations. Despite our efforts to communicate this message with the schools, we are concerned students may present to an LVHN location. If this occurs, please direct the student to return to the school or home and notify Department of Education Director of GME and Student Programs Margaret Hadinger at Margaret_A.Hadinger@lvhn.org. Follow-up communication will take place to ensure all colleges and universities receive this message and direct students accordingly. A separate communication with details about medical student rotation is forthcoming.
