Dear Students and Families,
Starting tomorrow, Monday, March 16, we are moving to an online lesson format much like Colleges & Universities. I'm super excited about this opportunity to provide continuity & comfort in our students' lives. With so much changing so quickly, I feel it is important to keep music in their lives as a fun constructive activity to relieve some stress in a tough situation. Music has always been a comforting, therapeutic part of my life. And, as they will be home a lot this gives them something to do!
I have done Skype lessons for years and I've always felt that they are a fun alternative. I have to admit it feels cool to use technology also.
If you don't have a Skype account already it's simple and free to setup at www.skype.com . You can put it on a tablet, laptop, PC, phone, whatever you'd like. Call us at (616) 294-1483 or email info@avalonmusicacademyofholland.com - we just need contact information to setup the call: either a number to text or email to send on the device you'll be using. At your regularly scheduled time we will text or email you the link to join the video call, it's that easy. Check out the video below for a call example and sample lesson.
