Campbell named ASME Fellow
For his outstanding accomplishments in engineering Matt Campbell, professor of mechanical engineering, has been elected a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
Sencer wins JSPE Best Paper Award
This month, Burak Sencer, assistant professor of mechanical engineering, will be part of a group of researchers who will receive this year’s Best Paper Award from the Japan Society for Precision Engineering.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Julie A. Keil Women in Hydro Scholarship Fund 
An education scholarship program for women enrolled in an accredited college or university and majoring in a discipline relevant to entering the hydropower industry. The scholarship will be based on merit and financial need.
Grants to women who plan to enter the hydropower industry to assist in expenses to attend industry events. Applications are due to juliekeilfund@hydrofoundation.org by April 17, 2020.

Fellowships

The Data Incubator's Summer 2020 Data Science Fellowship application is open! Program: The Data Incubator is an intensive 8 week fellowship that prepares masters students, PhDs, and postdocs in STEM and social science fields seeking industry careers as data scientists. The program is free for Fellows and supported by sponsorships from hundreds of employers across multiple industries. In response to the overwhelming interest in our earlier sessions, we will be holding another fellowship.
