Gosh, what a difference a month makes! We could never have anticipated the global breadth of COVID-19 nor the enormity of its ramifications. But, we're certain you're getting plenty of information about that from other sources so we'll endeavour not to focus too heavily on it here, even though it is somewhat unavoidable.
Suffice to say, our hearts and thoughts are with all our arts colleagues and partners, freelancers and employees, friends and family at this time. We're all dealing with the uncertainty, implications and consequences of the virus.
Although at Creative Carbon Scotland our immediate work is not too badly affected by the pandemic, we understand the devastating effect that it is having on the arts organisations and artists that we serve. We are working hard to improve our services and develop the best ways in which we can support the arts sector during and beyond this difficult time through remote working and support and virtual meetings.
Some of our events and planning have been impacted. We've published a statement on our website and will update it as necessary. Read below for further details specific to our Green Tease events.

#GreenArts Day
It wasn't a Storm Ciara or a Storm Dennis, it was a #GreenArts Day Twitter Storm! Ginormous thanks to every individual and organisation who participated in celebrating the green achievements of our vital arts and culture sector.
During the day we launched our Green Arts Initiative Annual Report 2019, which illustrates the work that has taken place over the last year and what members of the initiative are planning for the coming year. It's jam-packed with information and ideas. We do hope you find it inspiring. And, we'd love your feedback, so please email Lewis with your comments.

Cultural Adaptations' Dublin transnational meeting
Last week some of our team and international partners travelled to Dublin (Ireland) to participate in a series of workshops and meetings for our Creative Europe Cultural Adaptations project.
We had a very full programme, designed by our cultural partners axis Ballymun, adaptation specialists Codema and embedded artist, Maeve Stone. However, much of it was cancelled due to COVID-19. Instead, we focused on internal planning and the design and creation of our digital resource - the Cultural Adaptations website - and toolkits, and our planned October conference.

Library of Creative Sustainability
There are now three new Scottish case studies in the Library!
We're proud to feature these wonderful Scottish organisations and artists that have been accomplishing some pretty awesome work on peatland restoration (environmental artist, Kate Foster working with Crichton Carbon Centre) in Galloway, the Black Wood of Rannoch (artists Tim Collins and Reiko Goto collaborating with Forest Research) in Perthshire and the Cuningar Loop (artists Rob Mulholland and James Winnett working with Forestry and Land Scotland), near Glasgow.

Green Tease: Update
Our next planned Green Tease will be a webinar on Wednesday 29th April, 6pm-8pm.
"Arts and Culture COP26" is a collaboration with COP26 Civil Society Coalition Culture Working Group, Stop Climate Chaos Scotland, and ecoartscotland.
The webinar will look at the role arts and culture can most effectively have for engaging with the COP26 talks happening in Glasgow in November this year. It'll be a great opportunity to learn about what makes for effective involvement, to hear some examples of previous artistic engagement with COPs and plans for this year, and to form connections with other organisations and individuals.
