 Bidra til å minke belastning på lufttrafikk-tjenesten
Det er den siste tiden iverksatt mange tiltak i samfunnet for at våre mest kritiske funksjoner skal kunne opprettholdes i forbindelse med spredningen av Covid-19. Et av disse tiltakene er et restriksjonsområde som forbyr VFR-flyging og skoleflyging, det kan du lese mer om her. Tiltaket gjelder i utgangspunktet ikke for droner, men er iverksatt for å avhjelpe lufttrafikktjenesten slik at de kan prioritere kritiske funksjoner.
I den forbindelse vil Luftfartstilsynet anmode om at du unngår flyging som krever kontakt eller koordinering med lufttrafikktjenesten, som ikke er strengt nødvendig. Det betyr at du ikke bør fly i kontrollert luftrom og innenfor 5 km av lufthavner, med mindre operasjonen er av samfunnskritisk karakter.
Dette vil bidra til å minke belastningen på lufttrafikktjenesten. Husk at dersom tårnet på lufthavnen der du ønsker å fly er stengt, har du ikke lov til å fly der. Enkelte typer lufttrafikk kan bruke lufthavnen utenfor tårnets åpningstider, det er derfor viktig at dette overholdes slik at man unngår konflikter.

Contribute to reducing the demand on air traffic services
As a means to tackle the ongoing Covid-19 crisis, the Norwegian government is taking measures on all levels to ensure that critical functions of the society remain effective. One of these measures is creating a restriction on all VFR- and school flights in the Norwegian airspace; you can find more information here. This restriction in itself does not apply to drone flights; however, the intention of the restriction is to reduce the pressure on the air traffic services to enhance their capacity to handle critical functions.
Therefore, we request that you avoid flights and operations demanding contact or coordination with air traffic services, unless strictly necessary. This means that you should not fly in controlled airspace, or within 5 km of an airport, except operations of a critical nature. Lowering the amount of operations will reduce the demand on the air traffic services. Please remember that drone flights are not allowed within 5 km of an airport when the tower is closed. This is to avoid conflict with manned aviation, as some types of air traffic may use the airport outside tower opening hours.
