THE LATEST FROM EDUBLOGS

Hi there,

Last week, I wrote to let you know we'd published an extensive guide with resources for online teaching due to school closures.

As the COVID-19 pandemic escalates, and more and more schools announce closures, educators around the world are using this guide in their planning.

We've been updating the article daily to ensure it's as current and useful as possible.

Just some of the extra things we've recently added include:
  • A Google Form survey you're welcome to edit to survey parents if you're planning for a closure
  • Suggestions of what to take home if you're planning for a closure
  • Free places to find eBooks, audiobooks, and read alouds for students
  • How to plan online lessons
  • A link to my tips for parents teaching young children at home
I also wanted to let you know that the Student Blogging Challenge has just begun. It runs for 9 weeks and is a way for your students to learn about publishing online while connecting with a global audience.

You have until April 5 to register. It's free, flexible, fun... and perfect for a remote learning program!

Take care,
