March 16 Update
 

Dear ACC family and friends,

I hope you were all able to "tune-in" to Doug's message last night. I hope it was encouraging and informative to you all. If you have not watched it yet, please check it out on our Facebook page or on the sermon section of our website. 

In order to do our part in hindering the spread of the COVID-19 virus, there will be NO Sunday morning worship service this Sunday, March 22 OR for the foreseeable future. This of course includes Sunday School and evening youth group. The ACC leadership is meeting tomorrow for prayer and to develop a short term strategy and a long term vision for what worship services will look like at ACC. 

We hope to develop an online (NOT LIVE...yet...), interactive worship service that can be accessed on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. We plan on starting out simple with a message from Doug and a few songs led by Nathan. There will be an interactive element for everyone partipating online (prayer requests, etc). In the future, we will likely be adding additional elements (interactive communion, online giving options, larger worship teams, more individuals involved, etc). 

I would ask that you pray for the ACC leaders and I as we strive to maintain communication and move forward within God's will for our church. Be patient with us as we dive into unchartered waters!

As Doug said in his message last night, the church is NOT closed... just the building is. 

As we strive to maintain normal ministry and financial operations, please make it a priority to give via the mail or drop your check off to the office this week. Nathan or Karen will probably be here! We'd appreciate it! 

ALSO as a reminder, the Gate will still be utilized tomorrow for the primary election for the City of Atlanta and Atlanta Township.
