The Society's response to COVID-19—UPDATE
In an effort to support the goal of limiting the spread of the COVID19 virus, effective immediately, the Society has made the decision to postpone all programs and suspend all activities in the office for the next two weeks.
The following programs are postponed:
March 17—Tea with Kath
March 18 & 25—Grow Your Own Food
March 22—Design Your Yard Pineridge
March 18 & 25—Master Gardener
March 25—Design Your Yard Cranston
March 25—Seed Starting for Community Gardeners
April 2—Member Talk: Trees, Trellises and the Art of Making Beautiful Walls
For multi-day courses that have already started, we will try to reschedule or offer it in an alternative format, such as a webinar, to accommodate completion of the program. We will contact these course participants once we have further information. Should classes be completely cancelled, we will let people know and reimbursements will be issued.
We are mindful of all the Society's future events and how the changing situation may affect them. Decisions about these event plans will be made closer to these event dates.
Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. We are doing our best to navigate this ever-evolving situation. We appreciate your ongoing patience and support through these uncertain times. We will be monitoring our email and phone messages if you need to reach us and will send out message updates when we have further information.
