Good afternoon Barrington Library patrons!
Out of an abundance of caution the Barrington Public Library will be closing to the public at 3 p.m. today, Monday March 16th.
The Board of Trustees will be meeting tonight at 6 p.m. to discuss our emergency planning strategy moving forward.
All Library hosted events and groups for the week of March 16th have been cancelled.
Staff will be on site until 6 p.m. and will be answering the phones and responding to email. If you wish to pick up items currently on the reserve shelf, please call us let us know you are in the parking lot to pick up your items. Staff will be available until 5:45 p.m to bring them out to you.
We will post additional information on our website as it becomes available. We will send out an additional newsletter and post to Facebook as information becomes available.
