With 1.2 million children in Georgia not returning to school today during this COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, Get Georgia Reading Campaign partners and Cabinet members have responded quickly and generously to help assemble an aggregated list of helpful resources and updates for our families and communities.
This page includes information about tracking COVID-19, school closures and cancellations, safety tips, guidance on meal assistance, and free learning resources—including several ways to get Georgia reading while school is out.
We are incredibly grateful to all of the leaders across Georgia who have stepped up to ensure our children and families can eat, learn, stay safe, and remain connected during this time of isolation.
