We're Hiring!

We are currently hiring for a part-time Copy Editor to revise materials related to our annual charity evaluations and other content on a project-specific basis. If you have excellent English writing skills, are highly organized, and are familiar with APA citation style, we encourage you to apply! We will be accepting applications until Tuesday, March 31 at 12:00 a.m. PST.

Remote Work Roundtable Series

We are aware that many organizations are temporarily transitioning to remote work, which can cause significant changes in teams' day-to-day operations. As a part of our roundtable series, we interviewed advocates from around the globe to examine remote organizational culture. We hope that this series will provide guidance and alleviate frustration as everyone adapts to these changing circumstances.

We are Not a Watchdog Organization

Why does ACE review such a small number of animal charities? Why hasn’t ACE reviewed certain well-known charities, such as PETA or the World Wildlife Fund? Our role in the animal advocacy movement is sometimes mistaken as the role of a watchdog organization. In this blog post, we discuss our role as an evaluator and explain why we aim to identify and direct resources toward only the most effective animal charities.

We've partnered with Momentum to further help you help animals! Momentum is an app that lets you pair automatic donations to things you do daily. For example: When you buy a treat for your companion animal, add 10% and donate to ACE!
