Dear Friends,
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the West Palm Beach Library Foundation is postponing the April 4, 2020 FOOD FOR THOUGHT fundraiser at the Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach. Our first concern is the health and safety of our members and community. We have been monitoring the crisis and will be following the recommendations of our national, state, and community agencies.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recommended as of 3/15/2020 that for the next 8 weeks, organizers (whether groups or individuals) cancel or postpone in-person events that consist of 50 people or more throughout the United States. Governor Ron DeSantis and West Palm Beach Mayor Keith James are also following this recommendation to limit community gatherings and implement social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are rescheduling the much-anticipated Library Foundation event for the fall and hope that you can still join us:
