Dear County Chairs,

With the news from Chairman Shafer earlier this afternoon that - in accordance with the CDC guidelines, and the President and Governor's calls for a state of emergency - our County conventions will look much different than they usually do. Conservatives for Clean Energy Georgia is withdrawing our request for a resolution from each county. 

While we wholeheartedly believe in our mission and our approach, the safety of our fellow Georgians is at the forefront of our minds. We appreciate Chairman Shafer's leadership and wisdom during these times of crisis. This process cannot be an easy one to navigate and we are grateful to the team at the Georgia GOP for navigating this unprecedented and uncharted territory with grace and kindness.

We are incredibly grateful for the support and interest we have received from each of you and we are encouraged as we continue to work towards our goal of conservative values in clean energy.
