A Message from the Dean

Dear Students,

On behalf of all the faculty and staff here at the Wilkes Honors College of FAU, I want to thank-you for your patience as we move to remote instruction and advising. There are sure to be glitches in the system, but I can assure you that your professors are doing their best to navigate our remote platforms to offer course content over the next two weeks. We fully appreciate the disruptions you are facing as students and the accommodations you are making at this difficult time. Keep your eye on FAU updates at https://www.fau.edu/coronavirus/ for the latest FAU policy decisions. Sending thoughts of health and safety to all of you.

Best,

Dr. Timothy J. Steigenga
Interim Dean, Wilkes Honors College

Senior Round-up for Medallion (Meeting cancelled)
In light of the recent directive from the State University System of Florida Board of Governors that FAU sent out, we will be cancelling the Medallion Roundup meeting that was to be held on March 18th at 8:00 pm in the Dining Hall.  Please, if you have not already done so, complete the Medallion 2020 Participation Form (http://www.fau.edu/honors/academics/medallionceremony/).  For now, the deadline for submitting your information is still April 3rd.  Also, because we were planning as part of the Roundup meeting to take a headshot photo for the program, we are asking that you email us a headshot photo.  That email may be sent to Anna Holmes at holmesa@fau.edu.  Make sure we know who the photo is from! Medallion ticket distribution will also be delayed for the time being.

Due to fluidity of the Covid-19 situation, we do not know what future University events may have to be postponed or cancelled.  As we learn more, we will do our best to keep you updated.
