Thank you so much for your support of Madison Street Books throughout our creation and opening. It has been an exciting and satisfying journey.
The safety and health of our neighbors and patrons is our highest priority. We will therefore be closing our bricks and mortar space to the public until further notice, as we try to help “flatten the curve” in whatever way we can.
To that end, please join us on our webpage, madstreetbooks.com, as we bring you daily “Tales from Mad Street” full of recommendations and revelry from a virtual 1127 West Madison Street. We're even planning to take our Toddler Jam virtual!
At that same website, you are able to browse and shop to your heart's content, just as you would in the store. (And yes, your newly acquired frequent buyer account works online, too.)
We should note that locally we are offering:
- Curbside pick-up.
- Free delivery to the West Loop.
And nationally we are offering:
- $1.00 shipping across the country.
As we move forward in this state of unknowing, we will be including information about our future plans in our newsletters, on our website, and through our Facebook page.
Having so many of you around this past weekend for our Grand Opening was very special. And to make sure we meet more of you in the months ahead, we'll just have to plan another party.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility. Remember that our website is always open, and we offer free delivery within a mile of the store. So if we didn't meet you during our open house, maybe we can meet you at yours.
