As we enter into April, we would firstly hope that this edition of DATUM finds you all well. To start, our first article we hope, will provide you with updated information on the government financial stimulus package pulled together by ArchiTeam Director Warwick Mihaly. There is also another item with a variety of links and resources, we hope will assist you all.

This month saw us launch our Members Only Facebook Live (MOFL) as a virtual pub lunch via Zoom, to bring you together to discuss topics of importance. We are currently organising more online CPD, webinars and live streaming options for you too. We have also provided you with direct links to ArchiTeam CPD online for each unit of competency.

As many of you are also aware, ArchiTeam Membership and Insurance renewal time is about to begin, the Director's are working very closely with the Brokers to get the best deal for you all.

Clerks Award - COVID update

Thanks to the ACA for bring our attention to the Clerks Award being temporarily amended to enable more flexibility during the Coronavirus outbreak.
On 28 March 2020, the Fair Work Commission made a determination that amended the Clerks Award for the pay period from 28 March to 20 June 2020. The temporary Schedule I allows for the following flexibility. Read here...

ArchiTeam CPD

Compulsory CPD Online

As we head to the end of the financial year, ArchiTeam aims to provide you with quality compulsory professional development through our CPD Online. As of the 1 July, it will be mandatory for Victorian Architects to declare that they have obtained 20 points (20 hours) of formal(10points/hours) and informal (10points/hours) CPD, bring them in line with the rest of Australia.

Architects' CPD is categorised into 4 areas of learning, the below links will take you directly to the ArchiTeam offerings in each category;
Design – an activity involving iterative explorations and appraisals of a range of ideas and concepts, leading towards the development of coherent proposals for a project.
Practice Management – the holistic understanding and organisation of the business and profession of architecture in relation to delivering projects.
Project Management/Delivery – the proficient, timely and cost-effective completion of an architectural project through all design and construction phases.
Documentation – the process of resolving, detailing and communicating an architectural project through all project stages.
