Hi everyone
Anyone with an eye on the news yesterday would have spotted that it's now advised for us all to try and only have essential social contact where possible. With the great range of families, ages and mix of 100+ people now coming along each week across the community, inevitably we need to pause our weekly music sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for the coming weeks.
We're having a good think about how we can best keep our musical community going in the meantime, in the shape of videos, online classes and recorded lessons which can be easily accessible to as many people as possible. We hope to get things back on track asap in the next week. If you're able to safely lend a smartphone, tablet or laptop to someone locally who may not have one so they can take part, please let us know. We may also be able to organise short-term loan of keyboards and electric drum kits.
Importantly ... if you're on your own, needing to fully isolate and/or unable to get to the shops, please get in touch and we can try to help with shopping, deliveries and essentials. Secondly, if you're in and around the Lodge and might be able to help someone, please also get in touch and we can try and match people together. I'm sure the ever brilliant Second Thoughts Community Shop will also be able to help when they're able.
