The Norwegian Reference Network for High Performance Computing

Newsletter for the HPC Reference Network

In many ways it has been a different type of winter, but finally we are happy to be able to send out the first newsletter for the Reference Network for HPC. The first recipients are all who participated in the kick-off meeting last fall plus some additions that have come in along the way. If you do not want to receive this newsletter, or if you want to tip other people about it and the HPC Reference Network, sign-on/sign-off can be done from the main web-page of the Reference network.

On the same web-page we will maintain information and materials relevant to the HPC Reference Network, along with an archive of the newsletters. We will try to send out a newsletter at least 4 times a year, and whenever there are important calls or events. Of note in this first newsletter is the upcoming LUMI user seminar, which due to more recent developments will be an on-line event. We plan to evolve the content on the web-pages and arrange regional or topical workshops and community meetings, according to interest and opportunities.

If you have questions or comments, ideas or information, please send an e-mail to: hpc-reference-network@uninett.no
