They are currently seeking donations for renovations to the building at 47 Victoria St, Macedon to make it fit for purpose as a community facility. 

The Macedon Community House Inc., Committee of Management plans to lease the building from the Macedon Ranges Shire Council and open the Community House later in 2020. As a Founding Friend you can be part of making this happen!

Why are they Fundraising?

The Macedon Ranges Shire Council made a significant budgetary allocation towards the cost of the building renovations for the 2019/20 financial year. In a Memorandum of Understanding signed with Council, the committee made a commitment to contribute $43,000 towards the cost of Stage 1 renovations. 

Help is now being sought from locals, businesses and community organizations to assist in raising the $43,000 through donations, sponsorships, grants and in-kind contributions made by local trades. We’re already well on the way to meeting our funding commitment. The Committee of Management has applied for several grants and a number of local tradespeople and building professionals have generously offered to provide electrical, plumbing, landscaping and structural engineering services.
