Invitation to Join the Call for Passover On-line Celebration for California Thursday, April 9-Saturday April 11

One of the most significant times of remembering and honoring Jesus is upon us, Passover. It is a time of remembering Jesus as the Passover Lamb, His suffering, death and resurrection. Passover was a Jewish feast Jesus shared with His disciples just before the crucifixion, preparing them for what was to come. Jesus introduced the first communion sharing the bread, His body, and the wine, His blood. He gave it to them saying, "Do this in remembrance of Me," Luke 22:19. Today, Passover and communion continues to be a reminder of the life He gave to us all.
For Jews it is a feast commemorating the time when God spared them from death in Egypt by passing over their homes. It was to be an everlasting ordinance. "So this day shall be to you a memorial; and you shall keep it as a feast to the Lord throughout your generations. You shall keep it as a feast by an everlasting ordinance," Exodus 12:14. As such, Passover, in the Old and New Testament, represents the gateway to life.
We invite you to join us to celebrate the Feast of Passover as we link arms across California. This is an invitation to stand "As One" recognizing and honoring Jesus' life-giving ways for the destiny of our state.
