More changes to the way I do real estate...
Recommendations from the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver
Since I sent out my email yesterday I received and read an email from the REBGV, the Real estate board of Greater Vancouver.

Realtors are deemed an 'essential service' and are advised to adhere to the BC Centre for Disease Control's prevention and physical distance guidelines. This includes limiting in-person interaction as much as possible and following physical distancing requirements until the state of emergency is lifted.  Showings are still permitted with strict adherence to these guidelines, most of which I highlighted in my email yesterday.

However, the BC Real Estate Association and the Real Estate Council have urged an immediate end to open houses and in-person showings during the current state of emergency declared by the provincial government.  They feel that those who do not comply with these recommendations put the safety of their clients, the public, and themselves in jeopardy.

Given this latest information I will continue to do 'virtual showings' by using Zoom, FaceTime, or Google Meet. The sellers can connect with buyers and their agents through the use of these apps. Documents can be signed electronically and buyers can ask for a 'subject to viewing'.

I wish to protect the public and will continue to update clients with regards to showings. Please call me if you require further information or explanation.

Stay safe, Leslee
