Parents and Volunteers,

As we are trying to figure out our new virtual normal and as we move along from day to day and week to week I have no doubt there will be some tweaking here and there, so I ask that you be patient as I learn how to do ministry, that I have been doing for 20 years, in a brand new way.

Love you all and miss seeing your faces every Sunday!  Hop on to our Wednesday live session

If you need ANYTHING at all, I am here.  Call me.  Email me.

In Christ,

Pastor Lisa Solomon

Here are the sermon notes and bulletins for tomorrow's service:

I am so excited about our new Sunday lessons through Easter.  This series is all about Jesus' Power and how we can interact with this in our daily lives.

I will be recording these each week and sending them to you via this newsletter, Facebook and on our website.  All you need to do is gather a few supplies, and get ready to have fun!  In the video will be moments where you are asked to pause and listen to a video (the link will be below), gather your supplies, or have discussion with your family.  So get those pause buttons ready!!

Supplies for this week are:  A Thankful Journal (per child), scrap pieces of paper, a bowl, pepper, dish soap, dish towel and a small bowl to put the soap into.

YOU’RE INVITED: A 5-WEEK SERIES ON WORSHIP

SERIES OVERVIEW:

When some people hear the word “worship,” they think of church buildings, or hymns, or special rituals. To some people, worship sounds pretty boring. But that’s not at all how God talks about worship! In the pages of Scripture, we discover that worship is so much bigger than what happens at church — and it’s definitely not boring. Worship is a party! And it’s a party we’re all invited to attend. In this series, kids will be invited to worship God both at church and at home as they learn that we can worship God through prayer, we can worship God by living for Him, we can worship God even during hard times, we can worship God out loud, and we’re all invited to Jesus’ party.

We have been talking about worship this month. We know you might feel silly doing dance moves to worship songs with your kids, or you might not know any good upbeat kids' worship songs. But try this: sometime this week, turn on some loud and fun worship music and have a worship dance party with your kids. Let loose and show them what it looks like to sing, shout and dance for God. Here's a Spotify playlist with some fun kids worship songs to get you started.
