The current COVID-19 situation presents unique and unprecedented challenges for families, children and young people. This special edition e-newsletter provides information on activities and resources that are available to support you and your family during this time.
The COVID-19 situation is evolving each day. Please check the WA Department of Health website for current information. The department also has a coronavirus health information line you can call on 1800 020 080.
This is a rapidly evolving situation, and up to date information on City services and activities are being provided online.

The Federal Government has implemented a closure of all playgrounds, skate parks and outside gyms in public places.
All City of Subiaco playgrounds, skate parks, public courts and outdoor fitness stations are closed. Public drinking fountains have also been disabled. Our parks and public toilets remain open.
The new physical distancing restrictions limit all indoor and outdoor public gatherings to two people, exceptions include households and family units. For more information, visit the City's COVID-19 webpage. |

The Commissioner for Children and Young People provides a range of online resources to support people through the COVID-19 situation. Children can create an online DigiMe to submit their experiences and read online storybooks that explain the situation, and parents can access resources on how to talk to children about COVID-19 and cope with stress.

Subiaco Library has a range of free online resources available for children and families. You can watch stories being read aloud to you by some of Australia's favourite storytellers on Storybox, watch children's movies on Kanopy Kids and read children's e-books in the eReading room.
