Grissom Parents & Students,
I hope this message finds you and your loved ones in good spirits during these unexpected times. As we transition to an e-Learning platform for the reminder of the year, there is quite a bit of information that you will need to know to navigate the next few months. Please take time to read over it carefully. Please understand that patience and flexibility will be needed as the Grissom faculty and staff navigate through uncharted territory. Know that we are working hard to ensure our students have the best instructional opportunities possible. We have been meeting virtually for over a week to prepare for the remainder of the school year. We will continue to do this and prepare lessons and assignments to the very best of our ability.
The Grissom PTSA provides a weekly newsletter to update parents on many of our clubs, activities, and upcoming events. To join the weekly PTSA newsletter distribution list, please click on the link below;

Mrs. Putt’s classes celebrated Pi Day the last days before 3/14. We learned lots of wacky facts about Pi, derived Pi using circular foods, created a color coded paper chain representing digits of pi, and had a Pi memorization contest!

Grissom Volleyball wants to say how much we love and appreciate our graduating seniors: Emma Arnold, Jackie Brunson, Lauren Burrell, Claire Carson, Morgan Jones, Karen Shirley, Caitlin Torok, and Nicole Torok. They have contributed so much to our program these last four years. They are all continuing on to colleges in the Fall and will do great things and make us all here at Grissom so very proud.
We will miss you greatly and wish you the very best!
Grissom Volleyball try-outs had to be postponed obviously and we will await direction from our State, the AHSAA, and our district leaders about when try-outs and practices can resume. Our team has been working out at home on their own creating their own VERY CREATIVE workouts. We have been sending each other videos and pictures of these workouts and other things we have been doing. Starting very soon—we will have workouts that I have made. I will also post these on facebook as well for any future Grissom Volleyball hopefuls. I miss everyone and hope to see you all soon.
