Enjoy your outdoor spaces!
Spring is here! Yay! And, unfortunately, so is Covid-19. Social distancing and Stay-at-Home policies are what are necessary now to help slow the spread of this horrible virus.
But that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the outdoors. As the spring warms up, here are some ways to enjoy your outdoor spaces:
Keep in Shape
Gardening is an excellent form of exercise! Deep knee bends to reach the ground, weight lifting bags of mulch or plants, arm exercises by raking or digging holes. If performed at constant rate, activities such as raking and weeding can burn up to 300 calories per hour. Click here for a FREE Spring Weeding Guide.
Calm Your Body and Mind
Do you yoga outside! It will clear your head, calm your worries, relieve your tensions to help you see the world and it’s current situation in a more positive light. Namaste.
Remain Productive
Working from home can be done outside! Find a comfortable seat with a little shade to reduce the glare on your computer screen. Enjoy the fresh air while you continue to be productive.
Listen to Nature's Music
The buzz of bees, the song of birds, breeze blowing through leaves, the musical swish of water from a fountain, the crystal jingle from windchimes all orchestrate into a once-in-a-lifetime symphony.
Night Lights
Evenings are perfect for sitting around the fire pit, eating s’mores, and star-gazing. Maybe even play some flashlight tag!
Happy Spring!
